Oh please help me differrentiate cheerdance from cheerleading? Or is cheerdance uniquely Filipino? On the otherhand, cheerleading is what it's known for in international competitions, is it not? Cheers! Sorry I'm not the authority on this but this cheerdance, cheerleading or pep squad competition whatever you may call it fascinates me. It's like the culminating activity of all the dances! Add on the complexities of gymnastics! What do you have? As that choreographer in "Bring it on" would put it Cheerleaders are dancers who have gone retarded! Well we see that in the videos uploaded in youTube and oh boy! These girls are smiling their physical pains away just to let the audience see and hear that they're perky and very positive in their chants! And I think this is another good portal for fashion designers to compete in because of the uniforms they wear designed to maximize their choreography! Wow! and not to mention the music! It's the determining factor to get those x-factor moves that the judges are looking for. I don't know with you but I surely wanna see an all male cheerleading group. Although it's kinda awkward guys being thrown in the air. But in his the history, the first 20 years of cheerleading guys were the first one doing cheerleading or I stand corrected with that? Like have you heard of this all male cheerleaders from japan wow kinda cool! We should have that in UAAP! Imagine an all cheerleading team comprised by our top male celebrities now who can dance well that would be a wonderful site for the girls! But it would be a nice twist if we have KC Concepcion being the team captain of this all male group so that guys could get tuned in too ey? Anyway, let us continue to cheer for our alma matter or our favorite school or the underdog! As they dance their hearts out in their routine. I dream we Filipinos would be a force to reckon with in this sport because we come up with the best and refreshing moves! Our creativity shall once again put as in the map of sports. Because cheerleading is a sport is it not?
